Anyone ready to make regular, focused taiji practice a priority in their life is welcome to join us. We have a minimum attendance requirement of twice a week to join/remain in our group.
- Understanding outer life exerts many pressures, there are over a hundred waking hours in the week; prioritizing less than 5% of those hours to do something like taiji is probably a minimum to realistically cultivate anything of real internal substance.
- More importantly, training taiji less than twice a week is likely worse for your development than not training at all.
To train with us:
1. Prior to joining, first watch a class for free with no commitment or expectations:
- prior to coming, see free 30 min youtube intro class by Guillem as a preview
- please email in advance of coming to rsvp and confirm logistics
- ask questions before or after class if you want
2. May join the next class after observing one full class:
- Sign waiver online here prior to joining,
- First 2 months due before joining, then month by month after
- $150 monthly member fee (email for lower University student rate)
3. Minimum regular attendance requirement to join/remain in class:
- come at least twice a week every week (16+ times in first two months)
- preferably more (no additional charge), we meet almost every day
- minimum twice a week (when you're in town) to continue training with group
